Kim’s request to hang out with Serena was the weirdest thing, especially since it didn’t seem like they were close at all. The two had been closer during their first year of college, but they grew distant for reasons Serena didn’t know. Her body was still damp from her workout by the time she got back to her dorm room, and to her surprise, Kim was already there waiting for her.
“Everything okay?” Serena asked while she guided Kim into her dorm room. When the pale girl nodded her head, Serena put her gym bag down. “You mentioned that you had something for me, right? You don’t have to give me anything. You don’t owe me anything.”
Kim looked away. “I know.”
“What is it?”
“I’ll let you get changed first,” Kim said while she fumbled with something in her hoodie pocket. “Sorry, I just realized that I didn’t even give you time to switch out of your clothes. Did you have a good workout?”
Serena checked out Kim’s exterior. Even though she was wearing a hoodie, she could see her broad shoulders. Her black yoga pants were also lined with her toned muscles. The girl worked out all the time, and Serena didn’t know what to say to a girl who definitely knew more about physical fitness than she did. She turned away from Kim and slipped into the closet. “Yeah, I had a really good workout. I worked on my legs today,” she said as she closed the door. She could hear a gulping sound from where she had left Kim in her bedroom. “I definitely need to work on my form, though. Maybe you could give me pointers - you’re studying kin, right?”
She didn’t hear a response. Frowning, she took off her clothes and switched into some old sweat pants and a T-shirt for the time being. She was going straight into the shower after figuring out what Kim was going to give her. But as she stepped out of the closet, her eyes widened with shock.
Standing at the doorway was a towering figure with Kim’s clothes scattered across the floor. “If this small, weak little body is what James actually wants, then it’s exactly what he’s going to get. But with all the best pieces of me.” It was a translucent figure that reached forward to grab Serena’s wrists. A burning sensation ran through her much shorter body as she let out a horrified scream. Before anybody could hear her, she felt the figure’s head struggling to slip into her mouth. “I hope you enjoy me taking over that pretty face of yours. You’re a little too skinny for my tastes, but I’ll get you all the gains you’ve been working for.”
Serena couldn’t believe what she was hearing as a fizzing sound echoed all around her. She felt like her insides were stretching as more and more of the translucent figure entered her body. She felt it crawling through her, and just as the last of Kim slipped inside of her, she felt a sharp surge of pain running through her body.
